William J. Rabis Jr., 49, died November 14, 2009 at Bristol Hospital. He was born in Southington, on June 29, 1960, he was the son of the late William J. Sr. and Anna Mae (Cormier) Rabis. He attended Bristol Eastern High School in the class of 1978. He worked for BWP Distribution for many years. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Deborah L. (Markie) Rabis; sons William J. Rabis III and Jason M. Rabis; daughters Kimberlee-Anne C. Rabis and Ashleigh M. Rabis; one grandchild Aubree M. Rabis; one sister Cheryl R. Staubley and her husband Bruce; three brothers Keith Carrier and his wife Cindy, Charles Carrier and his wife Diane, and Alcide Carrier; as well as many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. He was a big New York Yankees and a Chicago Bears fan. He devoted many years to coaching various youth baseball teams. Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rt. 4, Unionville on Wednesday (Nov. 18) from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral procession from The Ahern Funeral Home will be Thursday (Nov. 19) at 9:15am followed by the Funeral Liturgy in the Church of St. Gregory, Maltby St., Bristol at 10:00am. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, Burlington.
