Bernice P. (Belanger) O’Neill, of Farmington, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 14th. She was born on December 28th, 1924 in Quincy, MA and was a 1943 graduate of North Quincy High School. She worked for several years at the John Hancock Insurance Company in Boston, MA. She was married to Gerard P. O’Neill on November 13th, 1946 and leaves behind her three children: Claire B. (O’Neill) Hogue of Unionville, Patricia A. (O’Neill) Lavoie of Southington, and Gerard P. O’Neill, Jr. of Farmington, her sister, Geraldine Bowen of Halifax, MA, her four grandchildren: Kelley-Marie (Hogue) Hernandez of Milford, MA, Heather and Christopher Hogue of Unionville and Joseph W. O’Neill of Farmington, her four great-grandchildren, Crystal Hogue, Michelle Cliff, and Amber and Jade Hernandez, all of Milford, PA. Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rt. 4, Unionville on Friday (Oct. 16) from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held in The Ahern Funeral Home on Saturday (Oct. 17) at 10:30am followed by burial in Riverside Cemetery, Farmington.
