Mabel L. Dorman, 95, of Farmington, widow of George Dorman, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 4th. Born in Chicopee, MA, December 9th, 1913, daughter of the late Frank and Nellie (Clarke) Locke. Mabel was a longtime member of the Memorial United Methodist Church in Avon. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her three sisters, Eunice Santaw, Hazel Chapman and Nellie Locke and her four brothers, Sheridan Locke, Ernest Locke, Ervin Locke and Fred Locke. Graveside Funeral Services will be held TODAY at 11:00am in Greenwood Cemetery, Avon, In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial United Methodist Church, 867 West Avon Rd., Avon, CT 06001. Arrangements are being handled by The Ahern Funeral Homes, Inc.
