Henrietta Kablick, of Burlington, widow of Stanley Kablick, entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 30th. Born in Ashtabula, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Emma Erick Jory and Henry L. Jory. A graduate of Bristol High School and Stamford Hospital of Nursing, she was active in many phases of nursing. Prior to her last position as L. S. Mills High School nurse, she worked in the Obstetrical Department of Bristol Hospital. She is survived by a son, Alan M. Kablick and daughter-in-law Louise of Titusville, FL, and Plainville; a sister Barbara Smith and her husband Lindsey of West Brookfield, MA; a sister, Mable Hallsten of Burlington; a grandson, Timothy Kablick; two adored great grandchildren, Daniel and Shelby Kablick; and a sister-in-law, Frances K. Balinskas of Huntsville, FL. She also leaves many loving nieces, nephews and many close friends. Henrietta served as Town Chairman of the Salvation Army for twenty years, was a member of the Republican Town Committee and was past Treasurer of the Burlington Historical Society. A memorial service will be held Saturday (July 7) at 11:00am in the Congregational Church of Burlington, Rt. 4, Burlington with Rev. Wendell Taylor officiating.
