John Stanley O’Leary, of Unionville, beloved husband of Doreen (Fischer) O’Leary, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Hartford, August 30, 1947, son of the late John J. and Stella (Tyskewicz) O’Leary.
John was a self-employed plumber contractor, owning his own company, O’Leary Plumbing & Heating Company for 35 years, retiring in 2008.
Besides his wife, John is survived by his children, Trina A. Pettengill and her husband, David and John J. O’Leary and his wife, Debra, both of Wethersfield, his sisters Barbara Kyer of Florida, Charlotte Miller of Wethersfield and Christina Matthews of West Hartford , six grandchildren, Leah, Casey, Jack, Sean, Clover and Everett, many nieces and nephews, extended family and many close friends and his faithful and devoted dog, Frances.
Memorial service will be in September at a time and place to be announced.
